A Little Awesome Trunk Show & Sale at The Treehouse
5/23/2015 4:00:00 PM UTC - 5/23/2015 10:00:00 PM UTC
Posted By: The Treehouse
Join us for a very special event as we welcome Monica Roberti of A Little Awesome in a one-day-only trunk sale! Monica's miniature polymer clay food magnets, rings, and pushpins are some of the top sellers here at The Treehouse, and on May 23rd she'll be bringing a whole new array of one-of-a-kind jewelry & miniatures for your enjoyment.

Monica has always been crafty and started making made clay food for her dolls as a child of the 80's. However, she found her true miniature calling in 2008 after seeing a clay cupcake online--she said, "I can do that" and she did. Her miniature obsession had begun. She now creates hundreds of miniatures, from dime-sized salads to fruit tarts, tacos, and pancakes, all exquisitely rendered by hand.

Monica's work has been featured recently in Ulster Magazine as well as online in Buzzfeed, The Huffington Post and more.

The sale takes place at The Treehouse from 12 until 6-- refreshments will be served, Monica will be doing a demo, and you can enter a drawing for a free gift from A Little Awesome! How awesome is that?

We’ll screen an independent film that you may have missed the first time around or haven’t seen in a while and is not so readily available on services such as Netflix.   BIFF is a grassroots nonprofit organization that produced the 1st Annual Beacon Independent Film Festival Sept. 13-15, 2013.   BIFF’s mission also includes an education component with a filmmaking program in the middle school. The goal of the program is to guide the students through the filmmaking process, from conceiving an idea to shooting it to editing the final product. The instructors consist of a group of volunteers who are working professionals in all aspects of film and television.   If you have any questions, please contact BIFF.
